LIFE=PRECIOUS=OVERLOOKED
Life and Health, 2 things that are often overlooked.
I know i do. I always think that i'll see people tomorrow and put things off till the next day.
I never think of how precious life and good health really are.
I say this because this past weekend i've heard some really disturbing news.
On Thursday, a close family friend to Sheila's family was in a car accident. She was hit on the passenger side of her car by a guy who was hopped up on coke. She passed away. The worst thing is..she passed away on her husbands birthday. You wonder why good people have their lives prematurely ended while assholes and bastards still get to breathe and feel.
Last night, I heard some more disturbing news. One of my friends who i haven't seen in the longest time, but yet still hold in high regard. Well, he told us that he was diagnosed with hodgkins disease, which is cancer of the lymphoma. My heart dropped, and I honestly went to the bathroom a few minutes later and teared up. I'm still thinking about it. Such a good guy and really young, but he's fighting it and will beat it because of his will and heart.
It was just a really weird weekend. 2 pieces of really bad news, but yet...one of my childhood friends got married yesterday. Michelle Sese married her longtime boyfriend Primo. I have to admit, they are a really great couple. You can tell that they love each other and that they will enjoy being married. i'm very happy and excited for them. They had a great, fun wedding.
I can't say this enough, but to my friends, even though we don't see each other all the time. Even though we don't talk all the time. Even though we only see or hear from each other at occasions.
It's important that you all know, that each of you hold a special place in my heart. That no matter what, you will ALWAYS have a friend here.
I love you all.
