Moving Day

Today, we spent about 9 hours moving my brother in law to his new apartment.

Much thanks to the help we got. If they didn't help, i would literally still be there.
Also had my fantasy NBA draft tonight. Funny thing is, I ended up getting a detroit frontcourt. The wallace's and derrick coleman. But i'm pretty happy with my team. Well rounded and should give me some stat categories.

just a long day to a short weekend.

didn't get a real chance to enjoy it, with my father in law going to the hospital and spending every other free moment moving jay's stuff to his new place.

all good.

Tomorrow will mark 8 more days till Halo 2.

WHATTA WEEK!!!!!

First thing...Halo 2 comes out in 9 days.
Thursday, My father in law and I were moving things to Jay's apartment. Had a scare. Pretty much my father in law almost fainted & we ended up calling paramedics. After 2.days inthe hospital, he was released & nothing was found. So that's good.

Tomorrow, moving stuff to Jay's apartment. Considering we've done most of his moving for him. It's actually pretty sad. He's moving & we're working.
Hopefully my back holds up tomorrow. at least we gain an hour.
What to do, what to do.
HaPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!
I am celebrating with a Fantasy NBA DRAFT.

Grand Theft Auto

GTA: San Andreas got a 9.6 on Videogames.com and a 9.9 on IGN.com.

still not going to get the game. have too many games coming up to really think about it. especially with 2 more weeks till halo 2.

and 3 more weeks till metal gear 3. plus...i'm waiting on some reviews of killzone. if it gets higher than a 9 on both of these websites...i'll get the game.

Hmmmm.

It is officially 15 more days till the release of Halo 2.

Already have November 10th off, so i'm looking to play it all day.

still wondering if i should get killzone. we'll see on the reviews that it gets.
november is a crazy gaming month. halo 2, then metal gear and metroid the week after.

have to space out the games.

have my fantasy basketball draft this sunday. got the 18th pick. no idea who to get.

saw the grudge yesterday, i actually liked it better than the original. only because it doesn't drag out as much...and has more explanation than the original. thing about the japanese movies...is the fact that alot of the movies takes place in installments.

can't wait to watch the incredibles.
star wars episode 3 trailer is going to be shown before that movie.

Busy weekend

Well....it's sunday.
have to say...i've had a really busy week and weekend. but it was worth it

first off...like to say congratulations to the new
Mr. and Mrs. Brian Banas
and
Mr. and Mrs. Chris Flattery.

Both Weddings were awesome. Danced a ton...meaning my back was better.
Especially at the Chris and Zel's wedding. Just had a great time. Sheils and I were the Veil Sponsors..and Sheils sang at the church (AVE MARIA NEVER SOUNDED SO BEAUTIFUL). I was also the MC at the wedding...stammered a couple of times. but i found my groove. got some compliments...so it was ok.

Danced more than i thought i would...especially since my back went out on me in the beginning of the week and caused me to miss a day and a half of work. Actually the dancing helped my back get better. was able to freak and do everything i normally do.

Anyways...really happy for Chris and Zel. Leizl is like a sister to me. and to see her happy and to know that she did find her perfect match with Chris...is really great. Also nice to know that after all of the problems and the trouble they had with the wedding planning and everything. it was great to know that everything came out perfectly.

maria is on her trip around europe...getting emails here and there and see her on messenger every now and then. i'm totally jealous. wish i can take that much time off and do that type of trip.

well, there is officially 9 days before killzone...(ps2's halo killer)...only getting the game if it has a rating of 9 or higher.

then 23 more days for halo 2.

still have to sign up for my day off.

RIP Rodney Dangerfield

Well, another week has gone by and not much has happened.

i'm now 4-0 in my fantasy football league.

work is still stressing me out. mainly because i'm still learning to get a grasp on what i'm working on. so it's really frustrating when you feel you got a handle on it...then all of a sudden...you realize that you don't.

but it's all part of a job. but at the same time....i'm going to see if there's something else out there for me. really don't want to be stuck at this place forever.

talked to jay (brother in law), we're going to start working on our business plan for the store that we want to open. pretty much a store for geeks like ourselves.
main business would be a movie rental store...very similar to thomas...lots of anime's and foreign films....it would also be a comic book and collectible store. but then the final piece to it all would be a video game store. start it off with weekly tournaments. it's a lofty dream, but it's one worth going for.

saw joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat tonight. really great musical, very lively...never saw or heard anything from it before. so i was real surprised how much i liked it. cool thing was...jon secada is the lead. he did a real cool job.

well, one of my favorite entertainers of all time passed away today. Rodney dangerfield was always somebody i loved to watch. even if it was just an interview...his self depreciating humor was great. showed that you have to learn to make fun of yourself if you expect to get laughs. the world definitely lost a great comedic genius.

past weekend, went to my friends bachelor party...was real fun...dinner at shogun, whirly ball (doing it again), and million dollar saloon. then back to his boys house for beer pong. didn't get home till 5:30 am...but it was worth it. sad news though...roland found out that his cousin passed away. he found out before we went to million dollar. my condolences with his family and especially him.
